The Northern scrub flycatcher is a nice looking bird from the family of the tyrant flycatchers. This small bird can be found in the small bushes all over Bonaire, as well as on the ground where it is looking for small insects. The Northern scrub flycatcher also eats fruits. This bird might look a bit like the Brown-crested flycatcher but it is smaller and also has a short bill.
On Bonaire, this bird is called Para bobo and the Latin name is Sublegatus arenarum.
