Teachers at DSE are wonderful. What sets Trinity apart is the singular focus on elementary school. My only complaint is that the school is quite small. Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district. It serves a community that has battled generational poverty. Not all kids are “into” academics. The mission of the Douglas County School System Human Resources Department is to provide excellence in service as we treat each person as a valuable customer. Teachers have high expectations, and the students rise to the occasion. The small school atmosphere allows teachers and students to bond and really get to know one another, which provides more learning and development opportunities for the students. Although many faces have changed over the years, the most important things have remained the same. It is great to be part of the Winston family the teachers are extremely dedicated and it is nice to see the printable every morning greeting students with hugs and high-fives. Stay Connected. The administration, faculty, and staff are caring and hardworking with everyone dedicated to the success of all students. It seems that kids either get it done on their own with no issues (at a certain grade level all of the kids have a study hall) or kids are in tears nightly with the homework load.
